When you feel overwhelmed, stressed out, on edge, and like you can't do anything "right," it's hard to be at peace. This leads to anxiety and feeling like you are never good enough. Your anxiety is crushing and makes you feel miserable no matter how much you try. You may also have unresolved trauma. Therapy can help you find hope, feel more in control, and live your life with more ease.
Our approach in therapy is friendly, warm, and compassionate. We will work collaboratively with you to understand your experiences, symptoms, and help you meet your goals. We cannot do the work for you, so we ask that you are an active participant in sessions. We want you to feel that you have better control of your reactions and how you cope. You are here because you are ready to make these changes in your life. We are not going to give you all of the answers, and we don't have a magic wand that can fix everything in your life, but we will help you to help you gain skills and make choices/changes that closer align to what you want.
