I accept all major credit cards and FSA/HSA cards.

You can add this information into the client portal when you fill out intake paperwork.

I’ll keep this credit card on file so we don’t have to run them each time. No need to remember!

Clients can cancel or reschedule an appointment anytime, as long as they provide 24 hours notice. If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, or fail to show up, you will be charged for the full appointment fee.

you are investing in yourself & your life

The best indicator of client positive results is finding a counselor/client fit. Feeling like your counselor understands you is important in order for your mental health to improve (therefore get you to feeling better!). Some things to consider:

  1. You will spend less time in therapy if you find the best counselor for you from the get-go

  2. Therefore, because you might spend less time in therapy, you will spend less money in the long run

*A few things can help offset the cost: meet every other week, instead of every week or using your HSA or FSA.

Also to keep in mind: Private practice owners are only ONE-the therapist AND the person running the business, so they are actively involved in all aspects of the practice. Most of the time, private practice therapists have chosen to “specialize,” meaning, they’re very skilled and trained in working with a specific type of problem or a certain population. For myself, my main specialty is counseling anxiety for children, teens, and adults who are chronic worriers, overthinkers, and people-pleasers who feel overwhelmed with life.

I do not accept insurance, but I am happy to provide you with a form that you can send in to your insurance for possible reimbursement. That means you are responsible for the fees at the time of our appointment and, depending on your plan, a certain percentage of that may be paid to you by your insurance company.

I encourage you to call the number on the back of your insurance card to find out what your "out of network" benefits are just so there aren't any scary financial surprises. Ask them where to send a "Superbill" (that's the form I'll give you). I'll give you everything you need for that, you just need the address.

The biggest benefit of not involving your insurance provider in your treatment is that you and I are able to customize your care to your needs, rather than your care being dictated by your insurance company.
